Joe "J.L." Swann

JOE ?J.L.? SWANN, age 80, passed away and went to be with God and his loving family. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Nina and E.K. ?Tack? Swann; brother, Leslie Swann; son, Robbie Silver; mother and father-in-law, Everett and Mary Manning; brother-in-law, David Manning; and Betty Dopson. He has left behind his loving wife, Patricia (Chris) Swann; daughters, Melissah Bruce and Jennifer (Barry) Smith; granddaughters, Kaylea Smith and Hannah Silver; and several nieces and nephews. J.L. Swann was a retired truck driver running all 48 states alone and also with his wife, Chris, for over 30 years. He also enjoyed working at Dollywood after retirement from driving. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge Chapel. A graveside inurnment service will take place on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00am at Hillcrest Cemetery with Christopher Swann officiating.
