Joe Byrd

JOE BYRD, age 66, of Dandridge, TN passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center on August 2, 2009. He was the owner of Joe Byrd Pump Service and a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; mother, Christine and father Doyle; and infant son, Jeffrey. He is survived by his children; daughter, Alisa Byrd, son and daughter-in-law, David and Renae Byrd; grandchildren, Olivia and Nolan; brothers and sisters, Donnie and Stella Byrd, Frances Byrd, Judy and Curt Wilson, Ann Byrd, Jan Byrd, Ted Byrd; also several nieces and nephews. The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and staff of Jefferson County Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in the sanctuary of Deep Springs Baptist Church with the Reverend Tony French officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Graveside interment serivce will be Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Deep Springs Cemetery. The family has requested that ih lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Deep Springs Cemetery, c/o Jewel Price, 309 Independence Drive, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
