Jewell Ann Frazier, age 83, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026.
Jewell was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her life was centered around the people she loved, and the greatest treasures she leaves behind are the memories shared with her family and those fortunate enough to have known her. Her love and devotion to her family will remain a lasting part of her legacy and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.
Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lorene Whitaker; her husband, Bruce Frazier; and her daughter, Angela Watson Hensley.
She is survived by her son, Rick (Beverly) Watson; daughter, Rhonda (Pat) Brewer; grandchildren, Blake (Janelle) Ratliff, Hannah Mills, Taylor Ratliff, Audrey “Ash” Brewer, and Ryan Whited; and great-grandchildren, Case Mills, Élise Jewell Ratliff, Amelia Ratliff, and Liam Whited.
She is also survived by her brother, Dennis (Betty) Whittaker; sisters, Judy (Bob) Shaw and Joyce (Jimmy) Cassidy; her lifelong friend, Imogene Champ Purkey; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.
The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to the staff of Taylor House at Jefferson Park in White Pine for the loving care, kindness, and compassion they gave Jewell throughout the years. Your dedication to her care and the love you showed her will always be deeply appreciated and remembered by her family.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Lee officiating.
A graveside service and burial will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Piney Church Cemetery in New Market, Tennessee.
