JERRY F. WHITTEMORE, age 79, of New Market, TN passed away suddenly at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was retired from Magnavox Corporation with 25 years of service. Member of Jefferson City Church of God. Preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Gladys Whittemore. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Zella Cline Whittemore; daughters, Anita (Ron) Whittemore-Keaton of New Market, TN, Janet Whittemore Milburn of Jefferson City, TN; sons, Mike (Regina) Cline of Jefferson City, Steve (Susan) Cline of Talbott; Chris (Niki) Cline of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Matt, Chelsey, Caleb, Jordan, Hayden, Katie and Riley; sisters, Brenda (Richard) Davis and Marilyn (John) Prospero; brothers, Doug (Nan) Whittemore and Jim (Joy) Whittemore; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Dye officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Friday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
