Jerry Paul Hinson

JERRY PAUL HINSON, age 80 of Dandridge, TN passed away, Friday, November 10, 2023 at his home following a short illness.  He was the son of the late Robert and Vera (Williamson) Hinson and was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl and Sonny Valentine and Steve Hinson; sisters, Grace Valentine Harrison, Betty Worley-Hinson, Linda Sue Kuhn and Lois Hinson.  Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Hinson; son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Tara Hinson, granddaughter, and grandson-in-law. Katey and Nicholas Mackley: brothers, Don (Eula) Valentine and Virgil Hinson; many loving nieces and nephews; special friend Garland Thornton and many loving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.   He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was co-owner and operator with his brother-in-law, Sam Duncan of the popular Sam and Jerry’s Market for over 30 plus years. Funeral services will be Monday, November 13, 2023, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Rose and Rev. Mike Hensley officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday, November 13, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to the funeral service.  The graveside interment will be held Tuesday at 11:00am at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Chaplin Richard Everett presiding.
