Jerry Edwards

Landen Jerel “Jerry” Edwards, age 76 of White Pine, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Friday, January 23, 2014 at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was the retired owner and operator of Edwards Wood Chipping and veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tammy Reed Edwards, children: Landen Edwards Jr. and wife Carrie, Lisa Edwards Lewis and husband Todd and Landon Sanders, grandchildren: Cody, Logon and Sydney Edwards, Maggie Ellington, Hunter Franklin and Ellyssa Franklin, sisters: Shirley Lafoon, Marsha Tyson and Pam Alexander, brother; Jack Edwards also several nieces, nephews and other family members, special nephew, Wade Reed. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, 7:00pm in the sanctuary of Leadvale Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Charles Robison officiating, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Military Graveside Interment will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 in White Pine Cemetery, family friends and pallbearers will gather at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine at 12:30pm to proceed to the cemetery. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations be sent to Leadvale Baptist Church, Attention: Pre-School Program, 874 Leadvale Church Rd, White Pine, TN 37890.
