Jean Hill Lane

Jean Hill Lane, age 79 of Dandridge, TN passed away Tuesday evening, July 7, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Dandridge, a graduate of Maury High School and worked at Jefferson Memorial Hospital and as a home health caregiver for many years. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Norman R. Lane; parents, Isaac (Pud) Hill and Addie Hance Hill; infant sister, Linda Sue Hill; stepdaughter, Norma Lane; and brother-in-law, Clinton H. Francis, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Lynn Francis; brother, Tommy Hill, stepdaughter, Pat (Mark) Jones and Stacy Lane; nieces, Lisa and Nora Francis, and Heather (David) Payne; sister-in-law, Judy Hill and several cousins and other extended family members. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, 7:00pm at Farrar’s Dandridge Chapel with Pastor Bobby Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside interment services will be on Saturday, at 1:00pm at Hills Union Cemetery.
