Janice Elaine Reneau

Janice Elaine (Sinard) Reneau, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 surrounded by her family. Janice was born March 22, 1950 in Morristown, TN to J.E. and Leona (Lane) Sinard. She graduated White Pine High School in 1968. Janice married John Reneau on April 13, 1968, they spent 52 years together. Janice enjoyed being a stay at home mom while her children were little. She later worked many years at Sears, Food City and Pilot. She enjoyed reading and crafting floral creations for her family and friends . She and John traveled frequently and later she traveled with her granddaughter.

Janice was preceded in her death by her parents and loving husband. Janice is survived by her children, Michelle Hurst of Ringgold, GA and Micheal (Melissa) Reneau, grandchildren Logan Reneau and Ashley Reneau of Bulls Gap, TN.

The family would like to express their gratitude to White Pine Family Practice, Smoky Mountain Home Health and Devita Dialysis for the wonderful care they provided. Along with special thanks to her White Pine classmates 68’ who gave her so much support, love and prayers. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 10 from 10 to 12 noon with a celebration of life service at 12 noon at Gateway Church, 503 S. Jackson St., Morristown, TN.
