Janice Moore

Janice Moore of White Pine, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 22, 2022, surrounded by her family. Janice had several health issues, and the Lord called her home to relieve her of all her pain and suffering. She was a devoted member of Salem Baptist Church until the church closed several years ago. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman, Sr. and Clara Mae Moore; sisters, Cloretta Branner; Mary Lynn Moore, Charlotte Moore; brothers, Douglas Moore, Arbury Moore. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Moore Long; grandson, Shawn Simpson; great granddaughter, Shannell Simpson; sisters, Paulette Houston, Janette Mack, Sharon (Paul) Fuller, Arneita Williams, brother, Sherman Moore, Jr and  several devoted nieces and nephews who were always on call when needed.

Family and Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, May 26, 2022, between the hours of 12-1:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse L. Jones, Jr. officiating. A graveside interment service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
