James "Roy" Brown

James “Roy” Brown, age 78 of Morristown, TN passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Brown, sisters, Margaret Carpenter and Sally Newman, brothers, Gillis Brown and Carlos Brown, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Gladys Hutsell. He was a member and deacon of Mansfield Gap Baptist Church. He retired from Lear Corporation after 34 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores Brown, sister-in-law, Brenda Ingram, brother-in-law, Ronnie Hutsell, nephews, Scott (Misty) Ingram, Jason (Jenny) Ingram, Travis (Stevie) Hutsell, Chad (Marlana) Hutsell, brothers and sisters, Tommy Brown, Jackie Brown, Pauline Cupp, Linda Barker, Judy Carter, and Helen Lovell, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with Rev. Bill Collett officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home.
