James "Jim" A Scheerer

James (Jim) A Scheerer, age 77 of New Market, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior at Jefferson Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 12, 2024. He was self-employed owner of C.J. Sales Co. from 1991 until his retirement in 2012. He loved to fish and tell jokes, he loved his cats Calie, Sadie and Snow.

 He was born in Shelby Ohio to Raymond Vearl Sr. and Miriam Scheerer on October 8, 1946 who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Raymond Vearl Jr, Lois Baehr, Leola Mohr and Mary Bonecutter.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carol Scheerer, daughter, Heidi (Andrew) Tremblay, son, Jay Scheerer, grandchildren, Hannah and Aspen, adopted grandchildren, Alyssa and Dominic, sister, Martha (Bob) Andersen along with several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the nurses who cared for him in the hospital and at his home. 

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
