Inez Louise Russell Loveday Crider

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, surrounded by the love and support of her family, Inez Louise Russell Loveday Crider, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Jackson, TN.  She was born November 16, 1936 in Dandridge, TN. The daughter of Walter Otey and Velma Elizabeth (Etherton) Russell. In 1952 she married her first husband and the Father of her children; Robert Lee Loveday.  After his passing she and Robert Crider married and joined their two families and shared many wonderful years together. For many years she worked for the Bank of East Tennessee and at the time of her retirement was their Executive Vice President.   Above all, Inez loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.  She was lovingly known to many as “Aunt Inie” or “G-Mom” and her warm personality and quick wit were always welcoming.  She loved to read and spent much of her time enjoying a good book. She also had a very strong Faith and was a long-time member of the Swannsylvania Baptist Church.  She is survived by two daughters; Cynthia “Cindy” Campbell (Randy) of Jackson, TN and Lisa Ann Loveday of Dandridge, TN; four grandchildren; Robert “Rusty” Campbell (Paula), Brock Booker, Phillip Lowery (Lindsey) and Derrick Lowery (Katie); seven great-grandchildren; Noah, Jacoby, Lainy, Trinity, Eden, Blake and Blair; her brother; Alvin Russell and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  She is preceded in death by two sisters; Narmel Reneau Ward  and Mary Poe and her sister-in-law; Leta Russell.  A Graveside Service will be held at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Jefferson City, TN on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 2pm.  Family and friends are invited to call on the family from 12pm to 1:45pm at the Farrar Funeral Home, 411 W. Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City , TN. 37760. Those attending services for Inez are invited to share in remembering her by wearing her favorite color, red.  As was Inez’s wish, memorial contributions may be made to God’s Willing Vessels Food Pantry, PO Box 1168 Dandridge, TN. 37725.
