Herbert "Ray" Lovin, age 78, of Talbott, TN passed away on December 24, 2023 after a brief illness. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved to collect antique cars. He was a long-term member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Ray is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Brenda Lovin; parents, Herbert and Virginia Lovin; and sister, Sharon Gray. Survived by his daughter, Tammy (Randy) Walker; sister, Wanda Helton; nieces and nephew; and several close neighbors and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 5:00p.m.- 7:00p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with a 7:00p.m. funeral service to follow with Rev. Charlie Brewer officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45a.m. for an 11:00a.m. graveside, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
