Whether spending time outdoors, fishing, tending to his garden, or enjoying the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, he found meaning in the things he loved and the people closest to him. The memories he leaves behind will continue to be cherished by all who knew him.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, Don will be cremated, and his ashes will be returned to the family cemetery in North Carolina, bringing him back to the place where his roots began.
Though his passing leaves a deep sadness in the hearts of those who loved him, Don’s memory will live on through his family, his friends, and all those whose lives he touched. He will be remembered with love, missed dearly, and never forgotten.
