HEDY MAE COOK, age 80, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University and a member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church. Preceded in death by son, Thomas Cook; parents, Roy and Mona Millsaps. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Cook; son, Roy Cook and wife, Luz Gongora; grandchildren, Stacy and Andrew Cook; sisters, Margaret Cole, Stella Bosma, and Carolyn Lantz; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Linda Carr. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Piney Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Body will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home.
