Hazel Alfreda Southall

Mrs. Hazel Alfreda Southall, age 77, of Apartment 41, Bradford Square, Jefferson City, TN, entered this life on May 28, 1925 to the late Josie Hodge Spiva and Daniel King Mills, Sr. She entered eternal rest on May 20, 2003 from Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, TN. Alfreda was a member of Martha Davis Baptist Church, shere she sang in the youth choir. After moving to Nashville, TN, she joined Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, where she belonged to the Willing Workers and other organizations. She was a loyal member of PDRC Daughters of I.B.P.O.E. of W. Mattie E. Coleman Council, Nashville, TN. Alfreda was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie and Rusty; step father, Rollin Spive; three brothers, Nathaniel (Pop), Walter (Fat) and Daniel (Dickie). Alfreda leaves to cherish her memory; son, Robert (Ricky)Kyle; three grandchildren, Stacy, Jonathan and Joy, all of Nashville, TN; sister, Mollie Wells of Chicage, IL; brother, Horage Roger (Bonnie) Mills, Sr. of Morristown, TN; thirteen nieces and nephews;sixteen great nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews; a devoted cousin, Lucy Brabson of Jefferson City, TN; devoted friend, Rose Patton of Nashville, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 26, 2003 from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.
