George Timothy Klinebriel

Listen to Obituary

Born on Christmas Eve in 1954, George Timothy Klinebriel of Kodak, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday.

He was one of five boys born to George Jr. & Aravella Klinebriel of Ypsilanti, Michigan. In 1973, he graduated from John Glen High School and married Tracy, his high-school sweetheart, the very next year. The couple started a family and moved to Sevier County together in 1990. George worked as a butcher and meat cutter for several chain grocery stores throughout the area; until medical issues forced him to retire a couple of years ago. Outside of his career, George held several hobbies. He was passionate about painting, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Meanwhile, his primary focus was always on God and taking care of his family. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather; as well as a friend to most anyone he ever met.

George was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Tracy Klinebriel; two daughters, Amy (Mike) Hemsley and Brandie (Mike) Del Visco; four grandchildren, Jessica & Leah Hemsley, and Sheri (McKay) Milton & Alex Ferguson; brothers, David (Janet), Jim (Diane), Danny (Paula), and Cory (Deanna) Klinebriel; several nieces & nephews, extended family members and many friends. In addition, George is survived by a close cousin whom he looked upon as a sister, Cheryl (John) Romaine; and a very special couple, Jack (Janet) Wise, who may as well have been blood kin, too.

In accordance with his wishes, George was cremated. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.

Farrar Funeral Home of Dandridge is honored to serve the Klinebriel family.
