Fred D. Williford

Fred D. Williford, age 89 of White Pine, passed away at the home of his daughter in Newport on Friday, September 23, 2016. Fred was retired from American Enka and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in White Pine, he is also an Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty Shults Williford, parents, George and Ora Williford, sister, Sydney Scarlett, brothers, Henry, Pat, Tom and an Infant brother, his precious granddaughter, Amelia Williford. He is survived by his children; Barbara (Roy) Rauls of Oak Ridge, Missouri, Fred (Pam) Williford of White Pine, Rita Cope-Messer of Newport. Ina (John) Hudson of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Amanda Baker, Hanna Wheeling of Missouri, Donnie Williford of White Pine, Andrew Hudson of Texas and Chris Hudson of Missouri; great-grandchildren, Dustin Baker, Cheyenne Baker, Reva Wheeling, Ethan Wheeling all of Missouri, Tristan Hudson, Ashley Hudson and Blake Hudson all of Texas, Andrea, Bethany and Cassidy Williford all of White Pine, brother Herb Williford and sister Frances Johnson both of Pittman Center. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016, 7:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church in White Pine, with the Rev. William Bradley and Rev. Josh Spurgeon officiating, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the funeral. Graveside Interment will be held in French Broad Church of the Brethren Cemetery on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:00am, family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery at 9:45am for the service.
