Franklin "Chester" Atkins

Franklin “Chester” Atkins, of White Pine, passed away at his home on Monday, April 8, 2019. He was retired from Magnavox after 35 years of service. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jessie Atkins, daughter Susan Atkins Nievos-Campos, grandchildren, Alex Graves, Franklin Graves and Chelsie Delgaudio, great-grandchildren, Alexis, Summer. Ava, Ansley, Ace, Sebastian and Gia Grace. Brother, Kenneth Atkins of Point Pleasant and sister, Stella Brown of Trenton, NJ also several other family members. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Charlie Williams officiating, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside Interment will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at cemetery no later than 10:45am for the service.
