Francis "Gramps" Ray Bryan

FRANCIS RAY “GRAMPS” BRYAN, age 79, of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Center following a brief illness. He was born April 22, 1935, the son of the late Charlie and Francis Bryan. He was a member of the Deep Springs Baptist Church and was a retired electrician and machinist from Tennessee Handbags and Le Sportsac. Preceded in death by his daughter, Pamila Bryan; brother, Floyd Bryan; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Lawson Matthews and son Hoppy; sister, Yvonne (Bryan) Tipton. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Ann Bryan of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Stephanie Bryan; granddaughter, Marianne Bryan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Paul Moore, Betty and John French; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Sue Bryan; brother-in-law, Bill Tipton and his wife Mary; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services, Wednesday, June 4, 2014, 7:00pm at the Deep Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Chambers officiating. Interment graveside services, Thursday, 11:00am at Deep Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Andrew Alexander, Brent Bryan, Bennie Matthews, A.J. Spoone, Gordon Bryan and Brett Williams. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at the church.
