Frances T. McCarter

Frances T. McCarter, age 85 (39 for the 46th time) of Morristown passed away December 25, 2016 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. Preceded in death by Husband Lloyd F. McCarter, to honor the request of our mother, we will keep this short and sweet. She is survived by her four children, Sam McCarter, Bill McCarter, Mary McCarter and Martha Humphrey; her brother, Ralph Cannon; her sister and sister-in-law, Wanda Large and Wanda Cannon; plus her nieces and nephew. For those of you who knew her, knew she lived a long, full life. You, also know she had an awesome sense of humor, so you’ll understand that she wanted her obituary to state “The old gal is gone.” Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday December 29, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with Rev. Howard Shipley. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to service at the funeral home.
