Frances Jean Goan Chrisman

FRANCES JEAN GOAN CHRISMAN, age 74, of Dandridge, TN (Swannsylvania Community) went home to be with Lord on June 19, 2010. Jean was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She and her husband, C.A. Chrisman were co-owners of Westgate Motors of Newport where she faithfully worked by his side. Preceded in death by her father and Mother, Robert D. and Elizabeth (Martin) Goan; God Mother who raised her, Dicy Foster; sisters, Edna Zender and Maude Goan. Survived by husband of 56 years, C.A. Chrisman of Dandridge; children, Vickie Chrisman Ivey and husband Chuck,Tim Chrisman and wife Christy, Kim Chrisman Bledsoe, Craig Chrisman and wife Penny; grandchildren, Lauren Brock, April and Nicole Bledsoe, Corey Ivey, Kailain , Alee? and Zac Chrisman; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Zayden; sisters-in-law, Katheen (Jimmy) James and Mary Chrisman; niece, Terri (Don) Sowieja; nephews, Carl (Susan) Zender and Alfred (Mary) Howard and several other nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends and caregivers, Dale and Tulen Antrican. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to God?s Willing Vessel Food Pantry, % Swannsylvania Baptist Church, 921 Swannsylvania Rd., Dandridge, TN 37725 Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010, 11:00 am at Swannsylvania Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Hensley and Rev. Winfred French officiating. Family will receive friends Monday 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, TN.
