Evelyn Livesay Tilley

EVELYN PUGH LIVESAY TILLEY, age 87, of Jefferson City, TN went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2024, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was saved at an early age, was a member of Eastern Star, worked at the Talbott Post Office, and was retired from J. C. Penney. Preceded in death by her first husband and father of their children, Charles W. Livesay; her second husband, Gary Tilley; parents, Raymond and Margaret Pugh; and sister, Carolyn Knott. She is survived by her children, Steve (Stacy) Livesay, Debbie Parker, Daniel (Catrina) Livesay and Keith (Teresa) Livesay; grandchildren, Anthony and Shane Livesay, Chanda Byrd, Ryan Parker, Rachel Livesay, Hannah Martin, Dakota Livesay, Derek Livesay and Heather Herrera; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Shannon) Pugh; and numerous other family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Jefferson Park Nursing Home and Smoky Mountain Hospice for their loving and professional care. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Kermit McPeek, Pastor Travis Mills and Rev. Dr. Dean Haun officiating. Family and friends will gather 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service at Hickory Valley Cemetery in Lenoir City, TN.
