Ernest John Hickle

Ernest John Hickle, age 73, of New Market, TN passed away on March 17t, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a member of Jefferson City Church of God for 36 years where he served as clerk and Sunday School teacher. He worked at Forenta in Morristown for 52 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be extremely missed. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Faye Smith Hickle; his parents, Pete (Alice) Hickle and Margaret Oakes Hickle; mother and father-in-law, Eugene and Jean Smith. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; son, Mike Hickle; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Nathan Hubbard; step son, Eric Mullins (Amanda); grandchildren, Michael Hickle, Emily Hubbard, and Tyler Hubbard; step grandchildren, Hannah and Braden Mullins, Jacob, Joshua, Jared and Alexis Woolum; sister, Robin Collins (Floyd); brothers, Charles Hickle (Montry) and Tony Hickle (Kristi); sisters-in-law, Brenda Watson (Don), Teresa Smith-Giles (Wesley); nephews, Tommy Scarlett (Carol Ann) and Chris Hickle (Miranda). Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Dye officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
