Edward Beaver passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was of the Christian faith. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in Germany. Ed was employed by Asarco Mines (New Market) for many years. He loved Tennessee Football.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Elece (Taylor) Beaver; son and daughter, Curtis and Karen Beaver; siblings, Calvin and Wayne Beaver; granddaughter, Kimberly Beaver; and a host of other loving family.
He is survived by his beautiful wife of almost 65 years, Doris Faye (Ellison) Beaver; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Chad Cates; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Erica Beaver; grandchildren, James Beaver, Whitney (Jordan Mathis) Beaver, Christian Dotson, McKenzie Beaver, Chelsey (Addison) Nash, Caleb (Claire) Dotson, Tanner Beaver, Cadence Beaver, Michala Beaver, Ashley Beaver, and several great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Jay Beaver, Sonny Beaver, Rada Kanipe, and Faye (Donnie) Rimmer; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Farrar Funeral Home. Following the visitation the family will proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a military graveside interment service with VFW Post #5266 giving honors and Rev. John Pinkston officiating.
