EARLENE HULL KOOCH of Jefferson City, TN passed away peacefully in the presence of family to her Heavenly Home on May 17, 2024. Earlene was born in Atchison, Kansas and lived in Missouri until age twelve when she moved to Jefferson City. She was a graduate of Jefferson City High school and earned a BS degree in business from Carson-Newman University and a MS degree from UT Knoxville. She was an educator in the Jefferson County School System for over 34 years. She was a Christian who made a profession of faith at an early age and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. G. and Grace Hull. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Kooch (Lenka), and Ken Kooch (Gina); grandchildren, Autumn Schar (Greg), Samantha and Dominika Kooch; great-grandchildren, Kendrick and Nicholas Schar; sister, Linda Hull Sellers (David); nephew, Greg Sellers; and niece, Andrea Grace Sellers Jones (Adam). The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, May 20 at Farrar Funeral Home chapel in Jefferson City. Funeral service will follow at 6 pm with Dr. Justin Terrell officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, May 21 for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.  In lieu of flowers memorials in her honor may be made to a charity of your choice.
