Dorothy Jean Tilley

Dorothy Jean Tilley, of Morristown, Tennessee, passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 93.

Dorothy was known for her kind heart, strength, and warmth. She touched the lives of many through her deep love for family and her ability to make others feel welcome and cared for. She will be remembered for the lasting impression she left on everyone who knew her.

Dorothy dedicated thirty years of service as the Director of Environmental Services at Lakeway Regional Hospital, where she was respected for her commitment, leadership, and dedication to her work.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Omer and Ethel Lane; her brothers, Robert Lane and Price Lane; her sisters, Mary Bess, Anna Mae, and Betty Sue; and her daughter, Gail Wilder.

She is survived by her son, Homer Tilley, and his wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Brandon Mize, Brian Wilder, and Lana Lane; and great-grandchildren, Cedar Mize, Jacobi Mize, Seth Wilder, Dylan Lane, Tristan Lane, and Dawson Lane.

Dorothy Jean Tilley will be remembered with love and missed deeply by all who knew her.
