She was an incredible mother and her favorite role was Granny and she was excited about being a great granny. She loved her grandchildren’. It was the one thing that brought a smile to her face even when she was in the worst pain of her life. All the neighborhood kids and her nieces and nephews that she cared for called her “Do-Do” and still do. She was a second mom to so many and a true friend to all that knew her. She had a forgiving heart and never judged. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and eating out trying different foods when the opportunity came.  Dorothy gave of herself whether it be time, food, or money to help others in need, she touched many lives throughout her lifetime. She was our Angel on Earth and now our Angel in heaven.  Dorothy was a member of Full Gospel Ministries Church in Dandridge and retired after 29 years of service from Jefferson County Nursing home. She loved everyone she cared for and always gave excellent care, Being a CNA came naturally to her for she loved each of her patients as if they were her family.   She was a loving, caring Mother, Granny, Great Granny, sister, and friend to many people and was loved by all.
