Doris R. Briggs

DORIS R. BRIGGS, born in Limerick, Maine in 1920, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the age of 100. She was a long time employee of Carson Newman University, retiring in 2005. The students, faculty and administration at CNU have always held a special place in her heart. She was pre-deceased by her husband, William M. Briggs. She is survived by her step-son, William Briggs; step-daughter, Barbara Wilson; grandchildren, Sharon (Ed) Martin, Brian Briggs and Leslie (Jim) Vines. She has several great-grandchildren and close friend, Jane Hubbard. The family wishes to thank the administration and all the employees of Jefferson Park for the many years of loving care Doris received there.
