David Richard Hiday

DAVID RICHARD HIDAY, age 83 of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday evening, September 16, 2017 at his home. He was a member of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church; veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Magnavox. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Gladys Hiday; sisters, Sandy and Shirley Hiday and son-in-law, Ken Fuller. David is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Joyce L. Hiday; children, Leigh (Bill) June, Kathy (James) Hall, David (Tammy) Hiday, Tammy Fuller, Michael (April) Hiday, Vivian Cline, Tina Nash, Michelle (Rick) Tipton, Chris (Bill) Bradley, Kim Hiday, Ilene (Rick) Cate ; brother, Ken (Mary) Hiday; 37 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchilden; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many close family friends; beloved pets, Heidi, Wilbur and Sosha. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017, 11:00am at the Shady Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Jason McIntosh officiating and graveside interment following at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
