DAVID ALLEN BARKER, age 72, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away on January 20, 2024. He loved to spend his time fishing and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his wife, Janice Barker; parents, Thomas and Esta Barker; brother, Thomas Grady; sisters, Hazel Imogene Roberts, Dorothy Armitage and Mary Louise Lyle. He is survived by his sons, James Barker (Sadie), and Brandon Barker (DeeDee); grandchildren, Megan, Michelle, Sara, Oliver, Derrick and Cyera. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City at 1:00p.m. with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, or your local fire department.
