Darlene Foster York

Darlene Foster York, age 66 of Morristown, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, following a brief illness. She was a 1974 graduate of Maury High School and worked at Tennessee Handbags, Anchor Brush and NCR before she retired. She is preceded in death by her parents, James W "Bulldog" Foster and Helen Nichols Foster; brothers, J.W. Foster, Steve Foster, Allen Foster and Arnold Foster; step-son, Robert York.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James A. "Drew" York; daughter, Jammie S. Foster; brothers, Ronnie and John Foster; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Amanda Simerly, Cathy Cutshaw and Karla Belcher; Great-God-Daughter, Kaydince Walker.

Family and friends will meet at Cate Cemetery on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 for a 2:00pm Graveside Funeral Service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
