Darlene Virginia Myers

Darlene Virginia Myers, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. A devoted mother, wife, and grandmother.

She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church where she enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher and going for meal outings with her favorite church ladies. She was also an avid lover of all things crafts and enjoyed plants and nature.

She is proceeded in death by, husband, Richard L. Myers; daughter, Tracy Myers; parents, Myron and Mardell Myers; brother, Myron Schaffer; sister, Melody Armstead.

She is survived by son, Richard Myers; grandchildren, Heather Myers, Ryan Myers; sister, Brenda Johnson; brother, Gary Schaffer; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of Life will be on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at New Salem Baptist Church at 11:00AM with Pastor Johnny Lane officiating.
