Daniel "Danny" Reginald Carlton Herndon

Daniel "Danny" R. Herndon, age 72, of White Pine, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at UT Medical Center. Danny was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam Era, and he was retired from General Electric in Morristown. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Charles Hardy Herndon, parents, John L. and Lorene Fox Herndon, and brother, Johnny Herndon. He is survived by his children, Charles (Anne) Herndon, Frank (Diana) Herndon, and Lori (Kevin) Bolden, grandchildren, Tori (Tom) Brewer, Andrew and Emily Vick, Jasmine, Tanner and Wayne Herndon, great-grandson Rowan Brewer, grand-dog, Carter Bolden, sister, Sandy (Bobby) Mottern, sisters-in-laws, Patty Herndon and Nancy Ann (G.W.) France, brother-in-law, Frank Alan (Teressia) Hardy and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make an investment in an outing with your family or take your family to Yoder's and have a sandwich in memory of Danny. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. Friends may pay their respects starting at 9:00 am on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. Military graveside interment will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, 1:00 pm in White Pine Cemetery.
