Cynthia Ann May

Cynthia Ann May, age 45, of Morristown, TN, closed her eyes on August 3rd and opened them in the arms of Jesus with a fully healed body. Cynthia loved her mom and the time they spent together brought them tremendous joy. They loved taking walks, going out for ice cream, and thrift shopping together. She loved her family, her best friend, Morgan, and her “nieces,” Nova and Freya. These girls were the bright spot on even her hardest days, and she loved them as her own.

Cynthia found great joy in listening to worship music and watching sermons for encouragement in her daily life. She read God’s Word and had a deep, unwavering love for the Lord. We find comfort in knowing Cynthia is with Him now, whole and at peace. She will forever remain in our hearts, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

She is survived by her parents, Bill and Doris May; sisters, Jenny (Mike) Mann and Loretta (Randy) Smith; brother, Will (Laura) May; niece, Mackinsey May; nephews, Caleb Smith, Matthew Mann, and Hayden Mann; her best friend, Morgan Johnston and “nieces” Freya and Nova Summers. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Roy and Hazel May, and Herman and Vicie Price as well as several aunts and uncles.

We invite you to join us as we gather in the chapel at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Greg Lindsey officiating.
