Connie Lee Bailey

Ms. Connie Lee Bailey, daughter of the late William and Hester Bailey was born a twin on January 26,1946 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She departed her earthly body unexpectedly in her sleep, on August 31, 2024, at home with her sister Violet. Connie was one of 7 children. Connie relocated to White Pine, Tennessee in 1998 with her parents.

Connie was preceded in death by her twin sister: Bonnie Lou (16 days), as well as her siblings-Nellie Hess, Fay Justice, William Lloyd Bailey, and Judy Sisk. She is survived by her dedicated caretaker, dear sister and former lifelong employee of Hillbilly Cabin, Violet May Bailey, her nephews Ronald (Lisa) Bailey and Anthony (Beverly) Bailey. Connie’s beautiful life will be forever cherished by her numerous beloved, nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, extended family members and friends, her sweet dog Peaches, and her sweet friend Clyde Spencer (“Elvis”).

She attended the Lakeway Center for the Handicap and worked for various companies through the center. Connie absolutely adored Elvis Presley and loved spending time with family and friends. To know her was to love her, as her presence lit up the room.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30am Friday, September 6, 2024, at White Pine Cemetery in White Pine, TN; where she will be laid to rest. Pastor Jeff Seal will be officiating.
