CLAUDE “BILL” KINNICK, age 88, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on August 24, 2022 at his home. He was born July 25, 1934 in White Pine, TN. He was a longtime active member of George Street United Methodist Church, where he worshiped with a servant’s heart. He loved cooking and taking care of his family. He was a selfless person who was always available to help those in need. He was employed for 37 years as an industrial engineer at Magnavox Jefferson City. Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Betty (Mam) Hudson Kinnick; parents, Frank R. and Hazel Spencer Kinnick; sisters, Wanda Kuykendall and Carol Acker. He is survived by his children, Debra (Mark) Isom, William Kinnick, and Mary (Willie) Farrell; grandchildren, Tyler (Brooke) Stepp, Tanner (Hannah) Stepp, Hannah Stout, Blake Isom, Megan (Michael) Maursetter, Drew Kinnick and Clark (Heidi) Kirkman; seven great-grandchildren; and many relatives, special friends and neighbors. The family wishes to thank the JCEMS and the first responders who were so great to respond so quickly. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to George Street United Methodist Church, PO Box 615, Jefferson City, TN 37760. Friends may pay their respects from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service with Pastor Kathy Waters LaFollette officiating.
