Christopher Jacob "Jake" Moore

December 25, 1961- September 19, 2024

Christopher Jacob (Jake) Moore, age 62, born December 25, 1961, of Dandridge, TN passed away on September 19, 2024 from complications of cancer. Jake was born on Christmas Day in 1961 to Rodger and Doris Brabson Moore. Per a Facebook post by his uncle, Jeryl Moore, "His father called him a free spirit when he was a child. I saw him as a happy little kid and a kind soul. Through his life, he grew and changed, and his life became difficult, but he was still kind, especially to his parents and those he loved. If you were his friend, he'd help you any way he could." 

Left to mourn his memory are his special aunt and uncle, Jo Morie and Jeryl Moore, who took care of him during his battle with cancer. Jake is also survived by his brother, Tim (Jennifer) Moore, and his aunts and uncle: Bill Brabson, Josie Collins, and Janie Gunzenheiser, and a number of cousins and friends. Jake was buried next to his parents in a private service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge on Saturday, October 5.
