CHRISTINE BALLINGER WOODS 60, of Talbott passed away Wednesday September 29, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was an active member of Mill Springs Baptist Church of Jefferson City. She is preceded in death by: parents, Dorothy Haworth Ballinger and Floyd (Bud) Ballinger. She is survived by: sons, Samuel and wife Jessica Owens of White Pine, Izaac Owens and fiancé Taylor Moore of Talbott, Cory Woods of Talbott and his girlfriend Autumn Sarver, and stepson Kyle Woods; granddaughters, Sarah Owens, Emma Owens, and Abby Owens; grandsons, Jacob Owens, and Greyson Owens; sisters, Sue and husband Ted Lindsey of New Market, Teresa and husband Newton Day of Strawberry Plains; brothers, Melvin and wife Laura Ballinger, Dean and wife Vickie Ballinger all of New Market; life long friends, Cindy Fultz, Mary and Herbert Cox of Talbott; special friends, Ann West, Bobby Combs, Harold (Ray) Woods and family, David Lynn Owens and family; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service 7pm Monday, October 4, 2021, Mill Springs Baptist Church, Jefferson City with Dr. Greg Lindsey officiating. Interment 11am Tuesday, Pleasant Grove - Fielden Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7pm Monday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, 2816 Shaver Rd, White Pine, TN 37890.
