Charlie E. McDaniel

CHARLIE E. MCDANIEL, age 80, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Mill Springs Baptist Church and retired from MSHA after 28 years. Preceded in death by wife, Shirley McDaniel, daughter, Donna Shelton; grandmother, Mattie McDaniel; mother, Bessie (Sweetheart) Ellison; and sister, Jean Shelton. He is survived by his son, Michael McDaniel (Margaret); grandsons, Ryan McDaniel and Shane Collins (Jessica); granddaughter, Beth Schrock (Ivan); great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Taven, Karlie and Graven; sisters, Aileen Combs, Faye Beaver and Patsy Cox; brother, Donnie Ellison; special cousin, Betty Gann. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Lindsey officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to proceed to Westview Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
