Charles Stanley Roddy, Jr.

 

CHARLES STANLEY RODDY, JR.  of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday July 2, 2022, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Stanley Roddy, Sr. and Jewell Roddy; sisters, Christina Roddy and Sharon Roddy.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and served the with expeditionary force in Asia. He worked with the State Department and the State Department of Defense and served 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He was a graduate of Cocke Co. Community College of Marietta, GA and completed course study with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.  He is survived by his wife, Annalyn Roddy; step-daughter, Charry (Jake) Vane step-son, Charles Kent; granddaughter, Asa Vane; brothers; James and David Roddy; Sister, Barbara Gavin and several nieces and nephews.  The family will recieve friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.  Graveside funeral services with Military Honors will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00am at Dandridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bobby Phillips officiating.
