Cecil Edward Whitlock

CECIL EDWARD WHITLOCK, age 91, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on March 9, 2023 with his family by his side. He loved his family and was a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a Christian man and spent his life as a mechanic. In later years he loved reading and reminiscing about his life. Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Bobbie June Whitlock; son, Steve Whitlock; mother, Ola Hazel Whitlock; and brother, Ivan Whitlock.  He is survived by his children, Janet Ballinger (Jason), Debbie Roth (Charlie), and Larry Whitlock (Elaine); grandchildren, Allison Whitlock, Brian Roth, Bradley Roth, Clarissa Mazurowski (Max); great-grandchildren, Cassidey, Caitlyn and Cendall; sister, Lois Howard (Frank); several nieces and nephews, and his many friends and staff at Charter Assisted Living. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p. m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Greg Lindsey officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a charity or need of your choice.
