Daniel, Carson Kent – age 64 of Johnson City, TN, formerly of Rutledge, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Johnson City. Carson was a lifelong member of Oakland Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Vietnam Era. He was a former pressman with Magnavox after many years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Rayford and Mayme Daniel; infant brother, Jerry Allen Daniel; grandparents, Chris and Elsie Hodge Daniel and Samuel and Ella Mae Laughner Hampton. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis (Butch) and Bobbie Daniel of Rutledge; nephew, Brian (Debby) Daniel of Strawberry Plains; aunts and uncles, Bonnie and Charles Mills of Rutledge, Nancy and Eddie Frankenburg of Bean Station, Dorothy Daniel of Rutledge, and Jimmy and Betty Daniel of Jefferson City; several cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City officiated by Reverend Stacey Lawson. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
