Carl Eugene Childers,

Carl Eugene Childers, Sr.age 78, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday evening, January 30, 2003 following a brief illness. Carl was a strong, proud man who was a man of his work and integrity, which he has passed on to his family. He was a retired truck driver who had served in the US Navy and World War II. Preceded in death by his wife, Irene Hane Frazier Childers and is survived by his children; Rosemary Evon, Carl Eugene Childers, Jr., Lloyd David Childers, Mark Douglas Childers and Carol Sue SanGiorgio; step daughter, Doris Hegemeir and Ann Howes; 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services were held Sunday, 2:30 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Robert Emmert.
