Carl Edmond “Ed” Cagle of White Pine, TN, born December 11, 1949, went home to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was surrounded by loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernie “Hud “ Cagle and Pauline White Cagle; brothers Charles Jason “Charlie” Cagle and Kenneth R “Ken” Cagle. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Elizabeth Jane “Libby” Cagle; son Jason Todd Cagle, daughters Alisha Dawn (Scott) Carter and Jacyln Nicole “Sadie” Cagle; brother Rev. Bernie Preston “Bud” Cagle and sister Judy (Phil) Snodgrass grandchildren Dustin Alan “Dusty” (Abigail) Carter, Tanner Scott Carter, Carli Elizabeth (Austin) Shaffer, Jason Edmond “Jed” Cagle, Kevin Todd “KT” Cagle, Lydia Denise Carter; Bennett Gregg “Ben” Cagle, Haley Brianna “Boo” Shaffer; great-grandchildren, Lane Kingston and Grayson Tuff Walker; several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; a host of other family and friends; and his faithful companion Diesel.
