Brenda D. Walker

Brenda Walker, 64 of Dandridge, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She had retired from Smoky Mountain Knife Works after 24 years of service in July. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Howard “Dude” and Lucille Patterson Layman, and son, Jay Howard Walker. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, J. Ray Walker, daughter, Misty Duncan, grandchildren, Jessi Duncan, Samantha Duncan, Haley Lawson and Derrick Duncan, two great granddaughters, Esme and Zeona Sleet, brother, Turner Murphy, sister, Kay French and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 7:00 PM Monday, November 18, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service. Graveside Interment will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at French Broad Brethren Cemetery.
