Brenda Faye Holbert Martin Stansell

Brenda Faye (Martin) Stansell, age 79, of Dandridge, Tennessee, peacefully passed away on February 11,2026 surrounded by her husband and family at home. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, community, and her church family.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Blanche Holbert; brother, Arthur Holbert; her first husband and father of her children, Ron Martin; and brother-in-law; Lacy Burl (Aileen) Martin.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, David Stansell; daughter, Angel (Gary) Barton; sons, Allen (Belinda) Martin and Tony (Kelley) Martin; stepsons, James D. Stansell II, Michael (Michelle) Stansell, Phillip (Maddie) Stansell; stepdaughters, Heidi (Eric) Anderson, Sarah Stansell, Grace (Michael) Hanneman, and Elizabeth (Richard) Church; brothers, Don (Mary) Holbert and Bob (Judy) Holbert; sister, Betty Clark, and sister-in-law; Patricia Martin; grandchildren, Dakota “Cody” (Tori) Martin, Cory (Alana) Martin, Kyla (Tyler) Connell, Nathan Arwood, Aaron Martin, and Pledger Martin; step-grandchildren, Ashley (Evan) Worsham, Hayley Anderson and Jennie Anderson; great granddaughter, Adelaide Martin, step-great grandchildren, Kota Loose and Kimber Worsham. Brenda also had an additional thirteen step-grandchildren and thirteen step-great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews; and special friends, Freddie and Charlotte Holmes.

A funeral service will take place at 7PM, Friday, February 13, 2026 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service. Burial will take place at 11AM, Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Bohanon Cemetery in the Parrott's Chapel community.
