Bonnie Cate Hudgens
Bonnie Cate Hudgens, age 103, recently of Hoover, AL, went to her Heavenly home on August 17, 2026. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Piney Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her son, Darrell Newman; parents, Herbert and Addie Cate; and brother, Maurice Cate. She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Newman Burkhart; daughter-in-law, Deb Newman; grandchildren, Creed (Elizabeth) Burkhart, Kacy (Matt) Turpin, Caryn (Andy) Burkhart, Darsi (Ben) Sirknen, and Dara (Damon) Lindner; great-grandchildren, Abigail Burkhart, Devon Lindner, Virginia (Caleb) Fauth, and Win Turpin.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Jerry DeZearn officiating. The graveside service will follow at Pleasant Grove Piney Baptist Church Cemetery.
