Tech SGT (Ret) Billy Ray Long, age 92 of Morristown, passed away at his home on Monday, January 1, 2024. He retired from the US Air Force after 25 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Vallie Long, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, son, Dennis Long, son-in-law, Chris Cobble and several other family members. He is survived by his children, Debbie Cobble and Roger Long, grandson, Matthew (Amanda) Thomas, mother of his children, Ella Mae Harrell, brother, J. C. Long, and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
