Billie Lucille Bowman

Billie Lucille Burnette Bowman, age 92 of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, April 3, 2026 at Charter Senior Living.

A faithful Christian, Billie was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. Her legacy is that of a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to the Lord and her family, Miss Billie loved working in the yard and doing crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyndal & Lola Burnette; her husband of 71 years, Gilford "Gil" Bowman; and siblings, Ralph Burnette, Frances Burnette, and Peggy Pate.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Randall (Trish) Bowman, Brian (Cynthia) Bowman, Frances Wilhite, and Kerry Bowman; grandchildren, Ryan Wilhite, Jacob Bowman, Kellee Harrington, and Felecia Foster.

A committal service is scheduled for 2PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway.
